- Reformation Sunday - October 28, 2007
Come celebrate the historic heritage of our congregation as we commemorate the monumental events of October 31, 1517 when Martin Luther posted his propositions that started the reform of the church that we have inherited in the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
9:00 AM at St. Paul's Church Rt. 80 Fabius NY
- Festive Service of Holy Communion
- Annual Anniversary Dinner and fellowship to follow (see below).
8:30 AM and 10:45 AM at Atonement on West Glen Ave. in the City
- Festival services of Holy Communion led by Pastor Suarez with all the familiar music of the Reformation - with dinner following the 10:45 service (a free will offering will be collected).
Come and bring friends. All are welcome!
- Special Note to Our Fabius Community
The Fabius Community invites everyone to both the 9:00am service and the festive meal to follow.
Bring a dish to share and come even if you can't bring something. Invite someone who has worshipped with us in the past - make it a family reunion as we celebrate our anniversary!
- It's NOT This Weekend!
Don't set your clocks back this weekend.
Remember that the time change has shifted a week. Clocks "fall" back the first week-end in November this year!
-
Crafty Ladyes Bazaar is coming!
The Crafty Ladyes are collecting your unwanted treasures that someone else is waiting to enjoy. This year we are accepting new and almost new, clean, clothes (on hangars or folded). Your treasures can be dropped off at church (downstairs, the second door to the right on the way into the Fellowship Hall). Mark your calendars now! The bazaar will be November 10, 2007.
This year, we will have a drawing for a Vera Bradley bag (pictured here), generously donated by Linda and John Owens. To purchase a ticket, see one of the "Ladyes." Drawing will be at the bazaar on November 10.

- Remember the Food Pantry
Saturday, October 13, 2007
Please remember to bring food pantry items to church with you on Sunday or drop off in the church office during the week.
We really need: Peanut butter, crackers, chunky soup, tuna, elbow macaroni, mayo or Miracle Whip, cereal, canned juice, canned fruit, spaghetti and sauce.
- We Need Your Help!
Donations are needed for the Atonement Childcare Center. Our classroom "dramatic play" areas are in need of old telephones (corldess, cell, etc.) and dress-up clothes (suitcoats, dresses, dance costumes, Halloween costumes, etc.), and additional items like purses, brief cases, etc.
If you can help, please drop off your items at the center or church office. Questions: Contact Pam Coppola at 492-7407.
