Atonement Lutheran Church - Holy Week 2008

There are many opportunities to worship during Holy Week, we hope to see you there!

Palm Sunday (March 16)
Choose from three very different worship opportunites this Palm Sunday (Palms will be distributed at each service.):

• 8:30 AM in the Sanctuary we will hold a traditional Palm Sunday Service - Pastor Gaetz Preaching.
• 9:00 AM at St. Paul's in Fabius, we will celebrate Palm Sunday with congregational reading of the Passion story according to St. Luke - Pastor Suarez Preaching.
• 10:45 AM in the Sanctuary our musicians will share the Passion Narrative according to St. Luke interpreted by music from the St. Matthew Passion arranged by Paul Hamill, written by Roberta Bitgood and Duke Ellington.

Wednesday (March 19)
Please join us for a service of healing and renewal at 6:15pm in the Sanctuary

Maundy Thursday (March 20)
Services of the Last Supper in the Atonement Sacntuary at 10:30am and 7:00pm

Good Friday (March 21)
Please join us for Tenebrae, the ancient and beautiful service of shadows and darkness at 7:00pm in the Atonement Sanctuary.

Saturday Easter Vigil (March 22)
Please join us for Easter Vigil Services at 5:15pm. We will celebrate Lighting of the New Fire, Renewal of Baptism Vows, Baptisms, and Holy Communion. Vicar Richter preaching.

Easter Sunday (March 23)

• At Atonement in Syracuse:
  Instrumental prelude (with guest musicians) precedes each service, Pastor Gaetz Preaching
  8:30am Festival Eucharist
  9:15am Easter Breakfast (all are welcome!)
  10:30am Festival Eucharist

• St. Pauls Community Church - Fabius:
  9:00am Festival Eucharist, Pastor Suarez Preaching
  10:00am Family Fellowship Time
