The Center recognizes that the primary responsibility of raising a child is with the parent. Our staff makes every effort to support the parent and family in this endeavor.

Atonement Lutheran Church Child Care Center and School Age Child Care Program is licensed and registered by the New York State Department of Social Services. We accept children from six weeks through 12 years into our program.

Our Programs:

Infant Program (6 weeks-18 months)
	The infant program accepts up to a maximum of 16 infants - two classrooms of eight children each. Schedules are flexible based on the developmental needs of each child. Individual attention and physical contact (touching, hugging, and cuddling) are critical in this program.
Toddler Program (18 months-3 years)
	The toddler program accepts up to a maximum of 30 children - three classrooms of ten children each. The program provides structured and unstructured activities. These activities include art, story time, songs, learning self-help skills, gross motor and sensory activities.
Preschool Program (3 years-5 years)
	A combination of structured and unstructured activities are designed to promote gross motor coordination, social development preschool cognitive skills, art, music, science, and nature - and much more!
After-School Program (5 years-12 years)
	The after-school program is a registered School Age Child Care Program. Care is provided before and after school - and all day when school is not in session. This program will accept a miximum of 40 children. Arts and crafts, music, cooking, nature study, and large and small motor activities are some of the ways children spend their time.
